As a resident in downtown Victoria, I see the
effects of a lack of affordable housing and other social problems first
hand, so I jumped at the chance to volunteer my skills for Pacifica Housing,
a non-profit group which aims to provide affordable housing and homelessness
outreach services in downtown Victoria. The entire project involved an update
to their organizational identity design including logo, business cards,
brochure, and complete website design and development.

I designed and developed a fresh and fun new
website for the CFUV Women's Radio Collective, as part of my cooperation
with DigitalEve's program CoDE, which offers professionally designed websites
to non-profit groups. I also worked on the first CoDE project for the VCRC.
It was great to contribute again! Made use of standards-compliant XHTML
and CSS to ensure cross-browser compatibility for a campus that runs primarily
Safari on the Mac OS and browsers other than MSIE.
